Bear Paw Creek’s Team
From the beginning Christopher and Janet have worked together to design and produce new products. Christopher’s visionary and creative personality have helped Janet to design and improve the end product.
The children are integral in the day to day running of the business.
From comic relief, chatting while Janet sews, flipping bean bags, stuffing stretchy bands, and so much more – everyone on the team is important.
Since 2002, Janet has benefited from contract sewers helping to produce products. Below you can meet and learn a bit about them.
Sarah Waddle has been sewing since she was 7 years old. Initially taught by her mother, she took sewing and designing classes from junior high through college. Sewing and working with textiles developed into a lifelong creative outlet. Although designing custom pieces is most energizing and fulfilling for her, working with Janet and her family for the past 12 years has been a delight. “I am inspired and encouraged by Janet’s hard work and perseverance. I see Janet succeed partly because she is willing to do things others don’t.”
Sarah has 5 children, of whom she is very proud. They all love the Stephen’s family, too.
After being born in Florida and raised in a Kansas farm town, Cindy attended Bible college in Joplin, Missouri. It was here she met her husband of 26 years, John. She has been homeschooling their two oldest boys for 10 years now. As a result of committing to foster care the Whites recently added another boy to their family. Cindy learned to sew as a fourth grader in 4-H with her Mom and Grandma as amazing examples of versatile seamstresses. Her greatest desire has always been to serve God as a wife and mother and teach kids about Jesus. Bear Paw Creek has been instrumental in making this possible. Being a part of Bear Paw Creek has been a huge blessing for Cindy as it has given her the opportunity to do something she has always enjoyed, in a work-from-home capacity. It is also a privilege to be a part of a business with values and integrity.
I recently retired from the medical field. I love to quilt, knit and crochet. I met Janet through church and was excited to be offered an opportunity to work with her. It allows me to work from home at my own pace. I enjoy making the bright and colorful products Bear Paw Creek offers. Working for Janet has been a blessing and I am thankful for this opportunity.
